Page 2 of 2 The real key here lies in the recognition that we have not actually made any mistakes, done anything wrong or in some obscure way committed a sin. We have merely, in our great enthusiasm to move forward, created imbalance and with, right knowledge, we can now begin the process of realignment. So does knowledge make the process easy? Not necessarily, when we are looking at the teeter-totter we naturally understand that the further out of balance it is the more effort it will take to reestablish balance. Using the same metaphor, we also will know that it takes far less energy if we keep moving while we are on the teeter-totter than it will take if we actually stop. In fact often it will only take a minor shifting of our weight. The important message in the teeter-totter is to recognize that change is much easier to establish if we keep moving within our environment, with an eye to reestablishing balance, than if we walk away and let situations become static in their imbalance. Understanding the eighty/twenty rule can be one of the most powerful aids to spiritual growth as well as prosperity in all areas of our lives when we start looking to it to reestablish the balance that truly supports our passion. Ask yourself what is important in your life. Honestly evaluate whether you are giving it your eighty or your twenty. The results are guaranteed to show up in your life.
