We all need someone to believe in us unquestioningly if we are to break through the shell of self doubt.  Each person must have a time and experience where they feel unconditionally supported.  A parent, a mentor, a friend, a teacher or a colleague; someone must witness every persons underlying potential before the possibility of expression can be realized.   

It is an unfortunate reality that some people exist having never experienced this basic human right.  More unfortunate still is the one who ‘receives’, unable to believe.

Ultimately we have to come to believe in some beneficent value if we are to achieve anything. 

So what of those of us who feel we have never had that recognition?  What should we do? 

There is only one way to get the recognition, love and support we need.  We must learn to give the love, recognition and support that we crave.  We must give it until we are no longer thinking of our own need.  It is then that we will wake up and find our need is met.  We must learn in every respect to be the change we are seeking.  As we unconditionally support others in their greatness we will find ourselves lifted up also. 

Every one of us has hidden away an undeveloped greatness; every one of us has something worthwhile to share.  When we find and develop that richness within we not only enhance our own lives but we bring to life the world around us.

A fulfilled person brings joy to the world.  You, fulfilled bring joy to your world.  My fulfillment brings joy to my world; but in the end it is up to me.
