And simultaneously I found myself asking how can this world truly discover peace, before humanity can find within, ‘genuine acceptance’?  Where two people genuinely love each other this should be celebrated; heaven knows we have few enough truly loving relationships in this world without denying the few we find. 

I envision a day when all people are included equally in all activities.  I believe that day is on its way and that each one of us is key to this unfolding of peace. This will only happen when each one of us enters within and rids ourselves of our demons of intolerance.  This day will come when, within our hearts, we discover the Infinite and Outermost God, for that which dwells in all the spheres of the universe most certainly dwells within the heart of every human.

So I say let us celebrate the choices that inspire peace, harmony and healthy communication.  Let us celebrate individuals for the good they bring to our tables, our homes and communities.  Let us not get caught in words, opinions and judgments that will surely change with our views of life.  Let us no longer look at differences that can not be taken home. 

Personal choices are tricky things so any truly religious or spiritual person should leave them to a sovereign power and live according to their personal faith.  There is only one sovereign power and so long as God brings them to my door all people are invited in free of any conditions.
