The part that is missed again and again is the degree of mental work necessary to create even the smallest change in our lives.  Thoughts are things, they may be energy like radio and light waves yet still they are things.  A single thought does not amount to much in terms of physical impact.  Yet many thoughts of a harmonious nature, focused on a single outcome, generate a force to cause change. This is more readily understood if we use the metaphor of focusing and harmonizing of light to create a laser beam. 

It takes determination, it takes focus, it takes a harmonizing of thoughts for a singular outcome that shifts the patterns of our lives.  This practice is not idle daydreaming it is work, it is the price we pay to make definite changes in our lives.  And every time we court chaotic, discordant thoughts, whether they are our own or some other persons, we dilute the results and must rebuild our focus and intention.  Occasionally as we practice this work we will have serendipitous occurrences, this is simply because at times we are unconsciously more in alignment with our inner desires, we already have a body of thought accepting of our desire.  Usually, particularly when we first turn ourselves to this practice, we will have to focus diligently and ‘religiously’ to have the results we desire.

So, although many have been stirred to excitement through the renewal of these age old ideas, expressed in this movie, few will do the work necessary to create tangible results.  And this ‘secret of the ages’ will sadly remain a secret to the majority, not because it was ever hidden but because few are willing to actually do the work. 

Everything is paid for.  Some choose to pay up front in their disciplined and generous focus of attention. They reap the rewards living the life of dreams realized.

Others will choose by default to pay, when they are old, the price of lost happiness, or even sadder, happiness never found.  

Eventually humanity will come to realize fully the power of thought and when they do will enjoy the benefits.  We, if we are willing to pay the cost, will come to know fulfillment sooner.
