So again it logically follows that thoughts would similarly attract according to their nature.  This simply means that the one who focuses most intently and passionately upon the disasters of the news is likely to afford themselves such a distasteful life.

In my own experience I have witnessed this many times over.  I have worked with many individuals who have repeatedly demonstrated this principle with an uncanny parallel between the negativity of their obsessings and the crises which badgered them. 

lternately I have witnessed repeatedly the results in the lives of people who focused on greater, healthier and more joy filled experiences. 

For any studious Christian this message will be amply recognized in the teachings of Jesus.  He repeatedly admonished his followers to pay attention to their thinking, to not judge others but rather attend to themselves.  As a predominantly Christian society, one might think that with a thorough scientific understanding of these teachings, we will readily be able to realign our patterns of thought creating true goodness.
