Page 2 of 2 The dreams I speak of are those ideals that define us. The vision of a greatness that is far closer to fantasy than reality. Yet they are encased in a shell, a cocoon of hope, of possibility. We don’t know how, when or even if but that is OK because the dream is the source of our passion. When we awaken in the morning we have purpose and desire; we have a creative urge to make a difference. Usually that dream, that vision is intricately related to all humanity. It is a vision of hope encompassing such principles as global freedom and health. Often that dream is deeply connected to a religion and a concept of a supreme being but that is not absolutely necessary. It is necessary that one have some faith in a universal order of some nature, some concept that binds and is somehow responsive to our personal needs and desires, in order to have such a vision. This vision is so essential that a lack of it is the root cause of all depression and fatalism. To lack a personal connection to this Essence through our personal dream is the cause of all low and fluctuating self esteem. The more solid and clear for an individual this is the freer that individual is to express fully. It is absolutely the foundation of true greatness and no truly great person ever to exist has lacked this vital dream. In truth such dreams are only necessary if we would seek to grow. Do you know your dream?
