Today's Spiritual Contemplation: Possessions that distract us from the truth of who we are remain among the heaviest chains we drag through our lives.  They are only exceeded in weight by the possessions they hide such as guilt, shame, greed and loneliness.  When we let go of the one we expose the other and set ourselves free; darkness loses all substance when exposed to the light.
