Today’s Affirmation: I am not my memories; I am their author, I have written them and I can edit them.

Today's Spiritual Contemplation: Many of us think our memories are accurate.  This is only 
partially true; they are an accurate reflection of our feelings only.  We do not have the capacity to 
absorb all the information necessary for accurate recollection of actual events.  This is why time 
heals wounds; as our feelings change the memories actually realign to fit our feelings.  This further 
means that we are not necessarily falsifying our past by consciously changing our feelings about 
the it.
